Head gaskets are generally cheap, but you will need exhaust gaskets and an intake as well. -And you should have your head and deck checked to make sure that they aren't warped. (If you do it yourself.) Follow the torquing sequence carefully and, have fun at it.

Close to $500-$1800 and that is if a mechanic shop is doing the work.If you are doing the repair it will cost about $30-$100 plus a whole day.

Well this really depends on a lot of different things. Without knowing the year and model of car I can't give you an accurate idea of price. You need to contact a shop for an estimate. To save money you can replace the gasket yourself but it can be quite a big job to undertake.

Your looking at about 100-200 depending on where you buy the parts. You can check online on craigslist to get a good deal. Sometimes you can get some partially used or new ones for a very good price. Go through ebay as well as there are some deals on there as well.

It usually requires removal of the air intake, spark plus wires and other sensors or wiring running along that area.
