To wash the dog's ears you need to start with a clean semi-damp cloth. Wipe down the parts that can be easily seen. You should be careful not to push ear wax into the ear but wipe it out.

A generally good way to clean any dogs ears is with a cotton ball and rubbing alcohal. You could also try some good old soap and water.
