Exposing the infected area to the air, then washing it with cotton and warm water every change. Avoid using commercially prepared wipes. Soothing creams also helps in treating the rash.

These types of health treatments are ambiguous at best, you should consult a physician before doing anything to "official" icy-hot pads are great, and fluids do as much as-the stereotype.

The best treatment for nappy rash is air. Keep the area clean and dry and allow fresh air whenever possible. There are many topical medications that will clear the problem quickly and easily.

Try to keep the area dry, use diapers instead of cloth nappies, use petroleum jelly with some powder but if its really bad, use castor-seed oil cream that contains zinc.

Try to leave the diaper off as much as possible and let the skin air out between changes. There are many barrier creams available, ask the pediatrician for their recommendation.
