What is the best state to live in?

I'm thinking about cost of living, recreation, weather, employment opportunities, etc.

For cost of living, Michigan and Missouri are currently the cheapest states. Jobs are few and far between there, however. Texas is actually a good state as far as jobs and cost of living.

Any state but Michigan would be good right in this point in time. I would say Hawaii, they have one of the lowest unemployment rates, and the weather is great.
