There are pregnancy stripe tests, which measure the hormone level in your urine and determine, whether your are pregnant or not. These tests work very well and are quite easy to use. Nowdays there are digital stripe tests, which even can tell you, if positive, in which week of the pregnancy you are. Doctors might do a blood test.

I've read that the First Response tests are the best ones to check for early pregnancy. I've also heard that digital pregnancy tests are very accurate. I'm pretty sure every brand sells them.
