I am getting close to when my second period would be due, yet all the home pregnancy test I take are negative.

If you're still getting negative results at this stage, I would definetly recommend getting a pregnancy blood test from your doctor, local hospital, or family planning services. There may be a fee, but you'll know for sure!

Many things can cause a missed period besides pregnancy. It could be due to age, a change in diet, a hormonal imbalance, or an illness.

First off, it might be too early in gestation to have a positive test. Wait a few days and take another one. You may also be stressed.

It could be the test you are taking. Make certain that you are following the directions and using first morning urine.
