The Playstation 2 system has a lot of great games in it's library. However, many argue that the battle of the best game on the console is probably between God of War, Shadow of the Colossus or Metal Gear Solid 3. I'd say God of War. :)

In my opinion, the best PS2 game is Devil Summoner 2. You take control of Raidou Kuzunoha to save Japan's capital from certain doom in this sequel. It has undergone a total overhaul of gameplay, from the demon capturing, to the combat, even the story has been lenthened. This game is worth a buy is you see it.

My favorite Playstation 2 game is Dark Cloud 2. It has a great storyline and the writers made a beautiful world for the game. You can play as Max or Monica in over 150 hours of gameplay. You also get to golf, fish, and raise fish in the game.

the best playstation2 game to me would be madden 10. I just love sport games. Plus it has very good graphics. The game is pretty much one of the greatest games ever. Other then a sports game i would have to say crash. Crash is another one of the most popular games that's been around for a long time.

The best of anything is based on opinion. To me the best PS2 game is the underrated Fatal Frame 3. Many games have good reviews, such as Metal Gear Solid 3, Resident Evil 4, and the Guitar Hero games.
