Usually a window in a warm area. The kitchen window would be a good place because then you can get your herbs faster if you're cooking.

The best placce for an indoor herb gaerden is in a window that gets alot of sunlight. You should select a window in your house or partment that gets at leaset six th eight hours of sunlight a day. Most herbs require alot of sunlight in order to be productive.
