I have had many ka mixers, the cheap ones and the pricy ones. The best mixer for the money is the bosch universal mixer, they last a life time and never break down. they will take very heavy loads too.

It is generally recognized that Kitchen Aide makes the best mixers available however they are also the most expensive. Depending on your needs you may be able to use a much cheaper mixer. I've had a very inexpensive Sunbeam mixer for almost 10 years and it is perfectly fine for occasional use.

Hands down the best mixer on the market is the Kitchen Aid. Is has a strong motor and can handle stiff dough such as ginger bread and other heavy breads.

In my opinion Kitchen aid has the best mixer on the market. They are a little pricey but you definitely get what you pay. Kitchen Aid is a brand that has stood the test of time, they make high quality, durable mixers. They also sell a number of fancy attachments like a sausage maker or pasta maker.

I recommend any of the Kitchen Aid stand mixers. The ones where the head tilts up and down are the best. They are pricey for some but they last.
