You can use freezer bags, then wrap the bags in tin foil. If you can still get butcher paper, that is a good choice too. The new vacuum seal machines are effective. Dry freezing an item, unwrapped, overnight on a silicone sheet then putting it in freezer bags is a fantastic way to freeze individually and retain juices.

Ziplock brand plastic bags are specifically designed to store meat in your freezer. The bags will protect your meat from burn and keep them fresh for when you defrost.

The best way to store meat in the freezer is to wrap in in Saran Wrap then place it inside of a Ziploc bag.

My favorite freezer wrap is Ziploc Vacuum freezer bags. The starter kit, with a hand pump, is inexpensive. The system works well.
