I would definitely want to pick Chinese Boxing as self defense. The man him self, 'Bruce Lee studied martial arts, based on Kung Fu , and Chinese Boxing. I always want to learn from the best!
I believe that Tae-Kwon do is the best martial art for self defence, but it depends on your abilities and size. Others which are useful are karate, judo and jiu-jiutsu.
