Martial arts classes vary in cost. Universities offer free classes, communities may charge in the range of $5. 00 per class and private lessons are usually upwards of $12. 00 per class.

Many youth clubs and school districts offer beginner sessions for free; so do many martial arts schools. After that, it usually runs about $10-12 per lesson.

Normally 35. 00 to 50. 00 is a good range. It depends on where you live and the type of martial arts training received.

Martial Arts instructors are independent business owners and they are free to charge whatever they choose. My recommendation is to shop around for the fighting style you desire and a school that charges what you want to pay. Negotiate the best deal.

If your son is not yet a teenager, the price can run from $30. 00 to $45. 00 a month which may include up to three classes per week. If he is a teenager, the price can be slightly higher. Many studios also charge a yearly membership fee and some equire their students to be a member of a martial arts federation.

It depends entirely on where you live. I've seen classes anywhere from $25 a month to $150. A lot of it depends on the age, the instructor, the level, the style. You certainly want to shop around though and find a class that teaches in a way you and your son will be comfortable with.
