What is the best digital SLR camera?

There is no objective "best," it really depends on what you like. most professional photographers like either Canon or nikon brand cameras, and the Canon EOS is one of the more popular cameras right now. The best way to find a good camera is to read online reviews and also to go into stores to look at cameras in person.

Canon makes some really good digital SLR cameras. They have quite a few models, and all are good. It just depends on what you are looking for in a camera.

Canon and Nikon make excellent digital SLR cameras. Both have a wide range of lenses and a long history in the photo field. Canon has excellent electronics and makes good image stabilized lenses, which are critical for telephoto work. I have 2 Canon cameras and frequently recommend Canon to associates. Also, I learned from a pro who used Canon.

I am a fan of Nikon. I think the Nikon D700 is the best. It all depends on what you take pictures of, but the D700 is very good.
