Strength training is hard work, so you need to be adequately nourished and prepared for your strenuous workouts. Drink lots of water -- your body is constantly perspiring and that water needs to be replaced. As well, protein is essential! Cretin supplements may help also, and protein bars, if needed.

food intake with high carbohydrates along with lean source of protien such as milk, yogurt, fruit/fruit juice, low fat cheese, whole grain bread with nut butter. most important is appropriate intake of water around 12-13 glasses per day
