Question by  bleo (41)

What is the best bedding to use for a cot?

All of the sheets I find for my cot seem to be too large for it, the fitted sheets do not stay on snug etc.

I merely take a bed sheet and clip it to the underside of the cot with fasteners or pins. Contact the cot manufacturer, ours had a cot pad for it.

Two options can be used: #1 Twin size fitted sheet and use "sheet clips" under cot to pull sheet tight. #2 check sheet sizes for juvenille furniture.

Cot's don't necessariy require bedding at all. If you absolutely need sheets, by best advice to you would be to measure the cot, then find the approximate bedding for the cot. For example, if your cot size is a twin, then buy twin sheets.

Twin Sheets should be sufficient for your cot. If these are still too large you can put the sheet on and secure it to the underside of the bed with safety pins. For air beds buy a larger sheet like a King or Queen's so the sheet's edges overlap underneath and pin the edges together with a safety pin.

Depending on the cot you can try children's bedding or twin-sized sheets secured with elastic sewn or stapled onto the bottom corners of the sheets. Large safety pins also work.

Well in that case, the best bedding sheets would be ones that you make yourself. Purchase some material that you find comfortable and look for a basic bedding pattern for cots.
