Not Medical Advice: The average size of a Labrador Retriever litter is between 7-8. Depending on if your dog did it natural or Artifical insemination she could have a higher litter count with and AI then natural. If she is pregnet now you can have an x-ray done to get a count.

Normally, a first litter will be two to four puppies. After the first little a female lab can have seven to ten puppies.
