Foot drop is when one or both feet turn in a abnormal way. An evaluation by an podiatrist, orthopedist and physical therapist will determine the best form of treatment. Podus boots are often used to keep the feet in the correct condition. Surgery may be required in severe cases.

"Foot Drop"is the inability to raise your foot or toes using muscles from the front of your leg. It is caused by a damaged or pinched nerve(usually from a herniated disc) in your lower lumbar area, affecting muscle function. Wearing a foot to knee brace may or may not help. Most are covered under medical insurance.
