Drug treatment options consist of antihistamines, steroids, bronchodilators, or a combination. These medicenes all work in different ways and can also be administered in many different ways. Your vet will show you how, and you also need to talk to your vet about these and other options and what is right for you and your dog.

Any dogs asthma must first be diagnosed by a Vet. Treatments can include oxygen, anthistamines, steroids, and brochialdialators just to name a few types of treatments.

If you do not understand your treatment options call you Vet up and ask about them. Tell your Vet that you do not understand the options and would like them explained in further detail. They will be glad to help. Then once you know the options you can find out which is best for you and your dog.

I would get the dog an oxygen tent and let it spend some time in and that should help it's breathing. This can be done as often as needed or even daily.
