Therefore, DSL ethernet is running a network over a phone line. This can be a very equitable way to work your network. Depending on usage, DSL could be the way to go.

It is Digital Subscriber line. It is a big upgrade from the dial up connection and is now the mainstream type of internet connection. It is broadband internet which uses a ethernet cable which connects to the computer and to a router or modem. It can not be wireless internet.

You're mixing two terms. DSL is a high speed internet that works over phone lines. Ethernet is a networking technology that connects nearby computers (within the same building, typically).

DSL or digital subscriber line/loop refers to the type of internet connection that you have. Ethernet refers to the type of of cable used to connect you computer to your internet router.
