By thw erod estate, I visualise coffee/tea plantation. I am living in India. Hence my observation and answer is based on Indian surrounding. Normal estate caretaker my be paid in the range of Rs. 10,000/- of Rs. 20,000/- depending in his experience and area of operation. Also, normally estate care takers are provided with free accommodation, in the estate itself.

An estate caretakers salary depends on the other benefits offered with it. Often it includes free room and board and food allowance.
