This is somewhat like hyper-ventillating. You become anxious, sweaty, dizzy, light-headed and tend to feel like you are going to pass out. This is your body's response usually to a stressful situation. It will go away when you calm down.

Loss of consciousness due to effect on vagal nerve. Vasovagal Syncope is the most common form of 'fainting'. The difference in types of syncope is the factors triggering episodes. Often times a patient is asked to identify warning signs of impending vasovagal response and do things to make themselves safe.

Vasovagal response, also called vasovagal syncope, is a feeling of uneasiness mediated by vegus nerve. It leads to loss of consciousness. It is the most common type of fainting.

vasovagal response is a body's reaction to stressful situation where you experience anxiety, dizziness, light headedness and as if you are going to pass out. if unrelieved, it can cause drop in the blood pressure, the heart action, and can cause faints. It will go away when you calm down.
