It's got to be personal to the both of you - so no Ikea generic design for you! Pick everything by hand, bring in lots of soft colours, and make a special place for all her personal things. Definitely make a feature out of some special photos so she can see you love every time she walks in the room.

Paint the walls cream except the one behind the bed board- this should be painted her favourite colour. Place a vase of her favourite flowers on each side of the bed. Keep a fake flower in each vase and tell her you will love her until the last one dies.
