For those who are in private practice, they see most patients in office settings and medical office environments. For those working in hospitals, they evaluate and consult with patients as other doctors in hospitals do. Those working in prisons or mental hospitals are paid more but do face the risk of assault.

A psychaiatrist work environment is more of less like an hospital. It is surrounded with many individuals of different nature, attitude, personality. The environment is like that of a mental hospital.

working in a psychiatrist environment kinda stresses you out once you leave work its like you need to see a shrink. Sometimes thier negative spirits jump on you and you feel as down as them or angry. i try to ignore clients and keep working. i pray for them.
