What is a healthy way to cook chicken breast?

I am trying to eat better than I have been and need new ways to cook.

For healthy eating, avoid cooking methods that add fat to the meal. For example, frying and sauteing should be cut down or outright avoided. You can cook with dry heat (baking, broiling, roasting) or wet (poaching, braising) - just don't cook in a way that involves oil. If the weather's nice, get out the grill. Tasty and fun to prepare!

Chicken is a diverse source of protein. You can bake, grill, stir fry it, make it into a bbq sandwich, chop it up into small pieces and make tacos or fajitas.

Try cooking chicken without adding seasonings that have additional calories and salt. Use spices such as rosemary, sage, cayenne or chili powder to add flavor without adding calories. Sprinkle spices onto raw chicken, spray a pan with fat free low calorie spray such as Pam and cook chicken until golden brown and thoroughly cooked, 5-7 minutes per side.

Chicken breast is healthy, high in protein, and low in fat. A great way to cook chicken breast is to grill it. If you do not have a grill, then roasting the chicken is easy and great tasting. To roast, lightly salt & pepper, then drizzle with olive oil. Wrap it up in foil and cook 35 minutes on 350.
