How do you cook a chicken in a deep fryer?

I would like instructions on frying a chicken in a deep fryer, do I need to cut it up first etc.

No there is no need to cut it up first. Look around the internet for a deep fried chicken recipe. Mainly look for a coating you will enjoy and pat the chicken into this mix, drop it in the fryer and you will be all set. I hope you enjoy.

It depends on how big your fryer is. You might want to do wings or drumsticks if it's little. You can fry it whole if you have a turkey fryer.

Pour cooking oil deep fryer until to proper height. Allow oil to get hot. Rinse chicken in cold water. Sprinkle with seasoning. Pour flour into plastic bag. Place pieces into bag. Shake bag. Place pieces of chicken into oil. Fry 5-8 minutes. Remove chicken. Place on top of paper towels.

Cut up chicken and boil in lightly salted water for 20 min. Drain, lightly pat dry with paper towels. Mix cornmeal, flour, salt, baking powder, poulty seasoning, and red pepper. Mix egg, milk and oil. Dip chicken in egg mixture, then in flour and fry a few pieces in hot oil for 2 to 3 min. Enjoy!
