I started photography last year, and the best way to learn is to get a camera and just take pictures. Experiment with different angles, subjects and lighting. Check out books at the library to learn more about the technical side of photography. A number of tutorials can be found on the web as well.

The best way to start learning photography is to go to an expert. There are always local photographers who know the industry and will set you up with the best equipment. This is extremely helpful and will get you into the hobby and keep you interested.
