Is he sleeping properly at night? First, have him visit a doctor to determine whether or not he has sleep apnea, a breathing problem that causes sleep disorders such as snoring or nodding off when watching t. v. or engaging in other sedentary activities. He might not be sleeping enough!

I would make him an appointment with his physician for a check-up. There are several things that could be contributing to his laziness. Is he getting a full night of sleep? Does he snore? Could he be suffering from sleep apnea. Excessive sleeping could also be a warning sign for depression. Schedule him an appointment.

Excessive daytime somnolence or over sleeping can be related to sleep apnea. If your husbands snores, has a large neck, a BMI over 30(obese), or hypertension he should see a sleep medicine doctor. The brpt. org has a list of doctors that specialize in sleep disorders. Or if you look in the yellow pages under sleep center or disorders.

Get him to the doctor to make sure there is no physical reason for his sleeping. Then plan activities that he enjoys and make sure he gets up to do them. Tell him you will not have sex with him if he sleeps that day during the day. Set a timer for naps.
