What is a good daily workout routine?

My daily workout routine is usually running a mile or so, lifting weights (alternating upper body and lower/abs on different days), then finishing with more time on an elliptical.

I like to wake up a little early and workout before i take a shower and go to work. Do leg squats while at work.

It is important to change your work outs up so your body does not become used to them. Walking everyday for 30 minutes then alternate, Pilates, weights and yoga.
