What if the discharge from my cat's eyes look bloody?

This is something that should be seen by a vet. It could be a tear duct infection, foreign object, or your kitty could have simply scratched it's eye lid in that area making the discharge look bloody. If it is in fact a foreign object and it goes untreated, it could get infected and be very painful.

This could be something serious and you should bring the cat to the vet. Any number of things could cause this from allergies to scratches to infections. One the vet can tell you for sure what the problem is and how to make it better.

You need to take your kitty into the vet. It could be simple or serious. It also could be contagious and affect other animals that you have.
