After 125 episodes and 7 years on the air Monk was canceled in December of 2009. There is a behind the scenes podcast you can view online where they talk to many of the cast and crew members.

The television show Monk has gone off the air and will no longer be shown, except of course in reruns. The show debuted on July 12th 2002 and the conclusion was aired on December 4th of 2009. Monk holds a record for the most watched scripted drama on television. That record was held by the Closer.
