What happened to Jimmy Hoffa?

Nobody really knows what happened to Hoffa. He went missing in 1975 and was legally declared dead in 1982. The FBI searched a Michigan farm in 2006 for Hoffa after receiving a tip, but Hoffa's body was not found. Most agree he's dead but where he's buried is unknown.

Head of the Teamsters Union and a convicted criminal, Hoffa had definite mob ties. Since disappearing on July 30, 1975, he's been widely assumed to be "swimmin' with the fishes."
