What goes well with dark furniture?

When you have a room with dark furniture, I would suggest going lighter on the wall colors, like a light tan, and then decorating the room with light and medium colored accessories, like green or blue. You do not want the room to be overwhelmed with dark colors if you use too many of them in the same room.

Light colored walls and open spaces go well. Also, a brightly colored throw or accent rug would look nice. Remember not to have too much dark items in any one room. Dark furniture looks rich so all accent pieces should have a rich look.

I think furniture that is dark goes good with lighter surroundings for example white walls,with sage green curtains ,plus if you add sage green curtains it will look great.

Most everything goes well with dark furniture. In my personal opinion if you put lighter colors around the furniture in the room it tends to make the funiture stand out a bit more that usually why people enjoy the darker furniture it enhances
