Fruits and vegetables are an excellent source of fiber. You can also try eating more whole grains, such as oatmeal. They also make bars and cereals with extra fiber too.

Most whole grains and "cereal" type foods (e.g. oat bran, brown rice, rolled oats) contain high amounts of soluble fiber. Fruit, vegetables and nuts can also have high levels.

Whole grains, vegetables, and nuts are good sources of soluble fiber. Brown rice, rye bread, oat bran, and popcorn are good grain sources. Potatoes, peas, pinto beans, and broccoli are also good sources. If you like fruit, then consider apples, grapefruit, apricots, oranges, plumbs, and tangerines as good sources of soluble fiber.

Psyllium husks are a good source of soluble fiber that many people add to their foods. Oat bran and apples have lots of soluble fibers and are good for you.
