It would help to take classes in hotel management. The receptionist needs to be good at customer service, be computer literate, good with numbers. A high school diploma may be sufficient, but the more education the better.

These kind of job don't really have any educational requirement because one can be trained to do it. You will need to look presentable, a good speaker and have a cheerful personality.

You must possess at least a high school degree. There are college majors in Hotel Management, but this isn't required for a receptionist (generally). You must be courteous and well-spoken.

A high school diploma would be the minimum requirement to start with. Your appearance and manner are of utmost importance so you do need to be educated in correct etiquette. The hotel will have an in house training program that will show you their protocols.
