You are either being accused of lying, attempting to hide information, or refusing to follow one or more of the courts orders.

If you make sudden outbursts in the middle of the court room or disturb the court you will find yourself with a Contempt of Court. These usually come with an associated fine and you could be jailed for a period of time if you are too out of line.

Contempt of court means that you are not following the rules as set forth by the judge. For example, in custody cases, if a parent misses visitation or if the custodial parent fails to provide the non custodial parent with their court ordered visit, they will be found in contempt of court.

Contempt of court means you may have done one of many things. This things range from speaking out of line while in court or just being rude. You need to take care of this issue so you don't possibly receive jail time.
