What does it mean if my pregnancy test hcg blood result was a one?

My hcg levels was a one.

An HCG level of one indicates that you are not pregnant or may be miscarrying if you already are pregnant (HCG levels will decrease if you are miscarrying). Generally an HCG level of 10 indicates pregnancy, in fact, that is about the level that a home pregnancy test will detect as a positive test result.

It means that you should keep trying for a baby. The normal nonpregnant level of hcg is below 10. If you were pregnant, it should be much, much higher.

This most likely means you are not pregnant. The result should be over 50 for the first test. If it is between 25 and 50 it is not a good sign--it is a chemical pregnancy or ectopic pregnancy. A result below 25 means you are most likely not at all pregnant.

Not true. My first HCG , 7 days post 5 day transfer was 19. I am pregnant. 9 days post transfer, I was 29. Slow steady progress & all was good add a comment

Every woman is different & every one does not double or have booming levels, because some take HCG boosters. I did not. I was told as long as the numbers steadily increase & your progesterone all is fine. Check with your Dr add a comment

An HCG level of one (here I must assume you mean to say one mlU/ml) is not an indicator of pregnancy. However, early pregnancy levels can double daily. Retest later.

With a HCG level of a one then you are not pregnant, in order to be pregnant your levels need to be at least a 20 and some doctors will go as far as to say they should be 25. You should expect your period to show at the normal time.
