Very accurate. Unless there was a lab mix up or the woman received a shot of hCG for some other purpose, a false positive on a blood pregnancy test is nearly impossible. The test measures for the hormone hCG which is only produced in response to pregnancy. If the level is detectable by the test then the woman is pregnant.

serum pregnancy tests are really accurate around 97% and they are more accurate and can be detected fast than urine pregnancy tests.

Basically not much else could cause a elevated beta HCG in the serum other than placental production. Baring some very very rare cancers, the choice is pregnancy, an ectopic pregnancy, or a molar pregnancy. See you doctor to investigate your result so that you are safe and your potential baby is safe.

The happy result that occurs in nine months. unlike, at home tests this test is performed at a health professional office. it uses blood instead of urine. the answer does come right since it is sent to a lab. the professional will tell the result in a relax environment. and this test is very accurate.

a positive sign in a pregnancy test kit doesn't confirm that you're pregnant, this is only a probable sign, if you got positive try to consult your ob-gyne for confirmation

This is actually a very accurate test to prove pregnancy or not. The only more accurate test would be an actual blood test in which hormones and levels are tested through a doctor office. If you have tested positive on a home test, you would be best to next schedule a doctor appointment.

Go to your GP / pharmacist for a serum test. You go to a toilet, pee on a white stick. Now if you are not pregnant there will appear only 1 line, if you are 2 lines. It can be wrong but only when it shows 1 and it should actually be 2, it NEVER means 1 when it's 2!

Blood tests are more accurate than urine tests and both are very accurate (95% or more) so long as a) the test is taken at least 10 days after conception and b) the test procedure is conducted absolutely correctly. Accuracy can fall if the instructions are not followed to the letter. If in doubt, test again!

A serum pregnancy test tests your blood for HCG. The most common reason for elevated levels is pregnancy. However, there are a few factors that could raise your HCG levels besides pregnacy such as cancer of the reproductive organs and certain medications used to treat seizure disorders and Parkinson's.

There is an old saying..the rabbit died. This pertains to a blood test administered to find out if a woman is pregnant. The blood test is far more precise than an over-the-counter urine test..
