I noticed that the code F2 is appearing on my master panel for my hot tub.

It means it is on economy mode it heats up during the filter cycle. If it has an 24 hour circuit pump then it will run 24 hours.

It means filter cycle two. It is just the second level or speed as far as your hot tub is concerned.

First, determine the brand name of the control panel. It is sometimes different than the hottub itself. If it is Dream Maker, F2 means 4 hours daily filtration.
