statistical mean has the same meaning as Average. It is obtained by the sum of all figures given to the number of figures you were given
Answer by jsmith (2067)
The statistical mean of a set of numbers is the same thing as the average. The mode is just the most frequently appearing number in the set.
Answer by Mathmeteachin (192)
The statistical mean is just the average of the numbers. if you have 6,8,10,12,and 14 the statistical mean is 6+8+10+12+14 = 50 divided by 5 (number of numbers) = 10.
