It is a dull ache pain that does not go away, along the lower abdomen, either side, maybe down into the groin. It is very non-specific.

Appendicitis is usually accompanied by a sharp pain in the lower right side of the abdomen. The pain makes you bend your knees in attempt to relieve it.

Pulling right leg to your chin will cause severe pain and is a good indication of what is wrong. The Doctor will push on your right side, and when your stomach pops back, it will be very painful. I thought it reminded me of blackbirds picking at my insides.

The pain from appendicitis can be a constant dull ache or it could be very severe. Sometimes the pain comes and goes and other times it's constant. Sometimes there is nausea and vomiting with the pain. If the pain presists see your doctor because it can be serious. A blood test can quickly confirm the problem.
