You know, you are either pregnant or not pregnant, so the problem is with the test, not with you. I would wait a few days and repeat the test. Sometimes the testing unit is defective, or you didn't get enough urine on the strip, or the test was exposed to too much heat while in storage. Repeat the test.

A weak-postive when viewing a pregnancy test should be viewed as a postive. If there is a second line, no matter how faint, it is positive. For best results, take a pregnancy test first thing in the morning. Also, a local Planned Parenthood center will perform a pregnancy test at a relatively low cost.

Generally that means it's a yes. You should test again in a week to make sure that it's really positive. Sometimes it takes a while for HCG to be detectable.

This means that using whichever test they used, the hormone level wasn't up where they expect it to be when one is pregnant, but it was also a lot higher than the usual for one who is definitely not pregnant.
