Lymphocytes are white blood cells, and should be expected in certain lab results. For instance, a count less than 15.0 in a Complete Blood Count would not indicate an infection unless there were other clinical signs such as fever, redness, swelling, etc. If lymphocyte counts are extremely high in a complete blood count it could indicate leukemia.

Lymphocytes are white blood cells and excessive or quite low levels can indicate infection. It is generally difficult to interpret your results without consideration of the total clinical picture.
