A low hemoglobin count means that you have iron deficiency anemia. This may indicate that your body does not receive or produce adequate amounts of iron that is needed for the body, and may also indicate that you have not been ingesting iron rich food or maybe linked with blood disorders. It is important to take iron supplements.

A low hemoglobin count is the definition of anemia. If you know your count, you've obviously visited a doctor and they will have recommended a treatment plan. This will often include taking an iron supplement, altering your diet, or taking prescription drugs if the anemia is severe or non-diet related.

hemoglobin is an oxygen carrier thus this means if you are having a low hemoglobin count you may be suffering from excessive hemoglobin loss without knowing. Thus when you are suffering with this you may notice you look pale or even cyanotic. you must refer this to have a hemoglobin replace because this may be fatal esp to brain.

Hemoglobin is the protein in red blood cells to which oxygen binds. Low hemoglobin may be normal in some, or it may be caused by a disease. Low hemoglobin caused by disease is known as anemia. Some possible causes of low hemoglobin are aplastic anemia, cancer, hypothyroidism, or vitamin deficiency.
