How do folic acid's effect low platelets?

I have a low platelet count and was curious to if taking more folic acids would help?

They don't directly have a positive or negative impact on your platelet levels. You might consider eating more meat and green vegetables as these are the easiest and most common house hold way to raise your platelet rate.

I do not think that folic acid will help your platelet count. Folic acid is more of a vitamin. To help your platelet count, try eating greens, drinking oarnge juice, or call your doctor to see if there is a supplement that you can take to help your platelet count.

The best way to answer that is to make a quick call to your doctor they could tell you yes or no in a matter of moments.
