For me, the most memorable was when the Titantic sank in the movie "Titanic". Another favorite of mine is when the old couple dies together holding hands in "The Notebook".

When I watch Bill Murray lead his army buddies on the parade ground during the graduation ceremony in the movie 'Stripes' I laugh like I'm seeing it for the first time. More recently, the fighting scenes at the Hot Gates in 300 were awesome even though somewhat computer generated.

It depends what you're looking for. In comedy, there's the faking orgasm scene from When Harry Met Sally, and a sad scene from Armageddon.
