It is state sponsored murder, pure and simple. There is nothing to morally justify it, no matter what we viscerally feel about the person or what they have done.
I'm not opposed to it. I feel like the crimes that one does to receive the death penalty is fair too. I also think that the methods of death penalty in the US are quick, rather than torturing, which i approve of.
