What do you say in a job interview if you have a recent arrest?

Just be honest with them and say that you have a court date set, and that you were wrong for doing what you did. Honesty is going to be the best way to get this job.

If they do not ask about it, you do not need to say anything. If asked, you should disclose the arrest and make it clear that you have not yet been convicted.

You are innocent until proven guilty, so until there is a conviction there in no legal requirement to disclose it. Certain jobs like law enforcement, military, banking and education will require you to report convictions once you have the job, so it may not be wise to apply for these kinds of jobs right now.

You would just explain the circumstances to the interviewer. A lot of jobs won't even give a person a second look if things like this are later found out.

I would be definately be honest and, as it has not gone to trial yet, I would explain my situation and how things have got to this point.
