What do you need to do to become an officer in the military?

The easiest way is to join a college ROTC program. After graduation, you are automatically in the military with an officers rank.

You will need to have a college degree to become an officer. Also depending on your degree you will need to go through a basic military training course in order to learn the required knowlegde of the specific service that you are trying to enter into. Usually one will go through ROTC or the service academies to recieve this training.
