Deciduous trees and shrubs, including poplars and willows, is what the caterpillars eat. Some of them will eat walnut leaves, but not all of them. The adult underwings eat nectar.
Give them little bread crumbs and things of that nature that'll get the job done, but pretty much anything like that they will eat it really doesnt matter just has to be small and eatable
