Old world style features a lot of tile, distressed wood, and interesting architecture. Exposed ceiling beams, metal scroll work, and chandeliers are common. The main theme is natural elements that look like they have been around a long time.
Agreed. Rugged features like wood ceiling beams, wrought iron, antique flooring is common. Found some photos here: Man I love those ceiling beams.
